About Our Practice
The Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital is a well-established, full-service feline veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care, as well as grooming and boarding. We operate on an appointment-only basis, so please call to schedule your appointment. Our mission is to provide your four-legged feline friend with the quality of care we would give our own pets!

Meet Our Staff

Mallory Clayton, DVM
Dr. Clayton graduated from Purdue University, College of Veterinary Medicine, with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Clayton has her sights set on becoming board certified in feline practice and actively engages in cat-specific continuing education. She has earned the Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), which demonstrates her commitment to advancing the standards of care for cats. Dr. Clayton credits her cream mackerel tabby, Finn, for her love of all things feline and has already adopted two more cats, Baloo and Ducky, since coming to the Cat Hospital in 2019. The rest of her zoo at home consists of one rabbit, two chinchillas, fifteen chickens, a husband, and a feisty toddler. Outside of work these days, her time is spent trying to keep up with Maisie (ideally with coffee in hand), but she also enjoys spending time outside doing activities like hiking and camping.

Janine Siebert, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ABVP (Feline Practice)
Dr. Siebert is a Board-Certified Feline Specialist who has been practicing at the Cat Hospital since 1998. Dr. Siebert graduated from Purdue University, College of Veterinary Medicine, with a DVM degree in 1976. Upon graduation, she practiced for several years in general small animal practice before returning to Purdue, where she obtained her Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology in 1982. Ultimately her love of clinical medicine (and cats, of course!), led her to return to private practice here at the Cat Hospital. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (feline), one of approximately 84 such board certified feline specialists in the United States. Dr. Siebert is an avid pickleball player and proud grandma to EIGHT grandsons. Her pets include a redpoint domestic shorthair cat named Carlos and a border terrier named Vada.

Buffy, Veterinary Assistant
Buffy has been with the Greater Lafayette Cat Hospital since September of 1998. In addition to her veterinary career, she also worked as an EMT for 8 years. Buffy lives in Francesville with her 3 cats and 2 “puppers” (Bella and Severide). She enjoys gardening but welcomes you to come weed for her.

Laura, Veterinary Assistant
Laura has been working in the field of veterinary medicine since 1994. She has worked in both small and large animal practices, but her passion is cats, which is evidenced by her crew of 6 at home. Laura lives in Lebanon with her husband and is a mother of two. She enjoys cuddling cats and connecting with their owners.

Alayna, RVT
Alayna graduated from Purdue University’s Veterinary Nursing program and obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2021. She began working at the Cat Hospital in the summer of 2020 as an intern where she fell in love with cats and has never looked back! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking and traveling with family and friends. At home she has two kitties of her own, Momo and Jinx, and a dog named Tucker.
